The 1950's Dr Pepper crown may look uncomplicated and simple, only one color, easy to read lettering and simple design. But getting to this new crown was a very complicated process. Once an advertising agency was chosen, they had 6 art directors, all working independently to sketch various possibilities of a new crown design, of which, hundreds were produced.
