Uncorked unused crowns:Uncorked uncrimped crowns: Some unused crowns of the cork-lined era were never corked as they were pulled from the production line to be used as a salesman's sample. Sales reps handed these out to potential customers, or they could be mounted in a display book to show customers. In other instances, employees would take one or two of a design off the line prior to the cork being installed and take them home for displays or souveniers Skirts: I don't usually photograph the side(s) of a crown. I usually try to take the time to show a really bad spot, but sometimes time is short and I overlook it. If it is really important to you on a particular crown, ask for additional images Reflared: Some crowns I receive in collections and trade stock I've bought have been re-flared.
